RV LIFE

Ahh…the joy of the open road and the freedom that it brings. The great outdoors and new scenery every day!

Seems tantalizing isn’t it, even more, when you feel suffocated by your 9 to 5 life or a daily routine which seems to go on and on within a boring cycle?

The iconic Recreational Vehicle or RV will provide you with the serendipity that you have always desired for. Whatever your lifestyle, you can always fit in the RV into your schedule so that your psychological and emotional state won’t go into the dumps.

The RV can play a major role in how you (with your family, friends, or simply you alone) spend your weekends, days off, holidays, or summers off on an outdoor pursuit. Or just like how some folks create it, transform the RV into their lifestyle, or just make the drastic change to make their RV their HOME!

Rick Blumont was thinking of Hawaii when brainstorming with his wife Ashley on how to spend a two-week vacation with their two boys who were both under ten years old. Out of the blue, one of the boys, Glenn murmured, “My friend in school has this RV and it seems like a lot of fun.”

It didn’t take a lot of persuasions for the parents to purchase the RV and off they went for their 2,000-mile adventure from their city and back for 14 days.

Rick said, “Ashley brought along a lot of board games and toys so that the kids won’t be bored. But they hardly touched them because there was too much to see and do on the road.”

Ashley recounted, “We didn’t regret a bit about canceling Hawaii. Rick and I thought the RV will still be around after our two-week trip, to provide us with more delightful adventures.” And the RV sure did…every summer.

Take Marty and Anne, a writer couple who used to rent an apartment in the city. “We thought, we are creative people, and we don’t report to an office every day. And we can just submit our reports and articles over the internet. And we love to travel and the outdoors. These four walls are driving us crazy. Come on, let’s ditch this and live in an RV, ” Marty happily confesses.

They then proceeded to install solar panels and a wireless internet subscription into their new RV and off they drove into their newfound freedom.

Anne sums it all up, “As creatives, the RV provides us the luxury to stop and spend the night at sites which ignites inspiration to write something beautiful and useful. And simply being more in love with each other every day.”

Brad, a 64-year-old retiree who ended his 35-year stint in a factory as a department boss, hated his life for two years doing nothing retired while living in his house in the suburbs. He was chatting with a fellow retiree on the internet who was living in an RV. This exploded a desire to travel in him.

Brad didn’t sell his house, but after he bought his beloved RV, he would be out on the road 1 to 2 months at a time journeying to where his heart desires.

“I don’t answer to anyone because I live alone. It is like having a new backyard or a new frontage to my Pedro (his RV’s nickname). Be it a green forest or a sandy beach. I could just eat at the nearest town’s diner, set up my grill under the moonlight, or cook my quick meals inside the RV. And when my cash is running dry, just withdraw my pension at the next bank ATM on the road. I love my life!”

After listening to these stories, are you ready to buy your own RV and embark on an adventure?
